A documentary about urban myths and a black comedy are among the highlights of this year's one-day horror film festival Dead by Dawn.

The programme for the Un-Hallowe'en Special version of Scotland's international horror film festival has now been launched, ahead of the event on Saturday, October 9th.

Screenings include Australian comedy The Director's Cut, documentary Cropsey and thriller 5150, Rue des Ormes, as well as two short programmes.

Adele Hartley, Dead by Dawn festival director, said: "Horror Films with Happy(ish) Endings is a collection of some of the most beautiful, elegant and romantic short films I've ever had the pleasure to screen."

All-inclusive passes £30, and individual tickets at the Filmhouse, on sale now.
