A new exhibition celebrating 40 years of Scottish theatre opens today at the National Library of Scotland.

A hand-written script for Tony Roper's hit play, The Steamie, and artist and playwright John Byrne's famous "pop-up book" stage, and mementoes from David Tennant and Brian Cox are among the exhibits at Curtain Up: 40 Years of Scottish Theatre.
