There will be a concert to mark the 150th anniversary of the birth of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle on 8th August.

The event, at Polwarth Parish Church, will feature performances on the "Sherlock Violin", made from the timber of a sycamore tree in the grounds of the author's old home, Liberton Bank House. It is now occupied by Dunedin School, which will benefit from the fundraising concert.

Buy tickets on the door for £7.50/£5. The event begins at 7:30pm.
