Golfers from the 18th and 19th century will take to the Bruntsfield Links this weekend to retrace the steps of their golf club’s founders.

The Bruntsfield Links Golfing Society will mark their 250th anniversary with a special tournament on their original course.

Now established at Barnton, the club is the fourth oldest in the world.

On Saturday, June 18th, the 36-hole course located on Bruntsfield Links will be replaced by a replica of the original six holes played by members until the 1890s.
