Art student’s lucky break

A City art student has been given a step up the fashion industry ladder after winning runner up in a Graduate Fashion Week competition and having his designs picked up by a major high street retailer.

James Bruce, who is in his final year at Edinburgh College of Art, entered a George kidswear competition launched by the brand at Graduate Fashion Week 2011.

His floral print dresses are now available in 386 stores and available to buy online.
