Edinburgh‑based charity Artlink are encouraging local businesses to share by getting involved in their new skills-swap project.

The charity, who aim to bring the benefits of the arts to disabled and disadvantaged people, are offering individual works of art to the community, in exchange for any skills they can provide.

Established in March 2010, the Barter Project was last month developed into a new scheme, Resilience, which was set up with £23,000 of funding from Midlothian Council and Tyne-Esk Leader, a joint European Council and Scottish Government programme.
