On a misleadingly calm sunny evening, 14 members set off to play the Monthly Medal, unfortunately, a shower of reasonably heavy rain halfway round did not add to the enjoyment of the evening nor did it help in regard to keeping scorecards in a readable condition.

Congratulations to Steven Doyle in winning the Medal by 5 shots. I presume this win was due to coaching received from the Treasurer earlier in the day at Newbattle....
