Formerly known as West Port Books, Edinburgh Books is the biggest secondhand bookshop in Edinburgh. They have a vast range of books on many subjects, ranging from Antiquarian to Nearly New, 50p to £500, Silly to Serious. One room in the shop is rented by Alba Musick of Glasgow and is full of sheet music.

Main Point Books
Main Point offers a varied and affordable selection of secondhand books. Books may be piled everywhere, but there's both rhyme and reason to the stock: the central table is covered with poetry and there's always philosophy, as well as esoteric subjects, world religions, mountaineering, maps and tons of once-upon-a-time-alphabetised paperback fiction. Stevenson, Spark, Orwell, Brautigan, Dick, Calvin and Hobbes are regular visitors. The shop is conveniently located between a lap dancing bar and a church, and proprietor Richard Browne always buys interesting books.
