Tennis on the Meadows

Meadows Tennis Courts Re-open! Open-day Sunday 10th June 2007

You may think there's little more to the Meadows than walking the dog or a game of football after class but you'd be forgetting our tennis facilities – open once again for a summer of sizzling serves and roasting rallies!

The 15 tennis courts at the Meadows provide an ideal venue for both casual tennis and the Meadows City Tennis Club. A coaching programme for both adults and children runs from April through October.

Players are welcome to pay and play on a casual basis. At times when the courts are open but not staffed, you are welcome to play free of charge, subject to court availability.

The courts are open daily between 09.00 – 21.00 from April to October.

Booking a court

The courts don't need to be booked in advance; you can simply pay and play. However, if you would like to pre-book you can do so up to 7 days in advance, either in person or by telephoning the Meadows on 07766 774529 or Craiglockhart Tennis Centre on 0131 444 1969.

The courts are manned at the following times:

• April, May, June and September… 16.00 – 19.00
• July and August… 12.00 – 20.00
