A CLOTHES store in the Grassmarket has unveiled a line of products made from bamboo.

Big Ideas, on the West Bow, is selling a range of tunics and cardigans which have been made using the oriental plant.

A spokesman for the Grassmarket traders association said: "Bamboo might not sound like ideal for clothing but Big Ideas will convince you the opposite is true."
