We chose the system to reduce energy wastage
A NEW lighting system has been installed at a Capital conference venue in a bid to cut down on emissions. The Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC), which has hosted a range of high-profile events, has installed a greener system created by lighting technology firm Dynalite. The system allows bosses to monitor the lighting system more closely to create more effective time schedules that reflect actual usage, rather than having to rely on "educated guess work". Movement sensors have also been added to selected areas. Mike Floyd, the EICC's facilities manager, said: "We chose the Dynalite lighting control system to reduce energy wastage."
