Police in the area have been compiling a record of “tags”
A YOUTH was arrested by police and charged with dozens of acts of vandalism after being caught red-handed by officers. The teenager was found vandalising a property in the Marchmont area with graffiti by officers in January and reported to the procurator fiscal. The youth was linked to a series of vandal attacks by his distinctive graffiti “tag”. Police in the area have been compiling a record of “tags” in a bid to link vandals to a string of crimes.
