Traffic report rolled out

    Plans to close the street have met with local opposition

MOVES to close Meadow Place in Marchmont to traffic are to be examined a new report.

Council plans to close the street to traffic have been met with strong local opposition and the officials have now agreed to look again at the plans.

It will be part of a wider review, requested by local councillors Marilyne MacLaren and Mark McInnes, into the needs of pedestrians, cyclists and motorists in the area.
