Police appealing for witnesses to a serious assault
Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was seriously assaulted in the Cowgate in Edinburgh in the early hours of Wednesday, November 28th. 
The man was returning home when he was assaulted in Blair Street, Cowgate at 0040am. A man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident and is due to appear in court tomorrow (29th November).
