The Art School Dance, which features one-off live performances by 20 local bands, is to be shown on November 15th.
The Wee Red Bar was the scene of an early anti-apartheid gig by the Proclaimers, and has helped kick-start the careers of many up-and-coming bands.
The film's co-producer, Graham Dey, told the Evening News today: "In many cases, The Wee Red Bar has given bands their first-ever gig.
"I thought that a film which involved live music would be an ideal tribute to the music culture fostered by the art college."
