AN EVENT celebrating the food on offer in the Capital's restaurants is to go ahead for a second year.

A host of celebrity chefs appeared at the inaugural Taste of Edinburgh event in June, including Aldo Zilli, Jean-Christophe Novelli, Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall and Antony Worrall Thompson. Around 20,000 people attended over four days.

Organisers have confirmed that the event will go ahead again next year and is to run between May 29th and June 1st on the Meadows.
