Prisoner on run arrested in the Capital
AN escaped prisoner has been arrested in Edinburgh after being on the run for more than a month.
Anthony Robertson, 23, had absconded from the troubled Castle Huntly prison, near Dundee on August 21st.
Officers had warned the public not to approach Robertson following what they described as an "incident" in Craigmillar last Wednesday.
Robertson, from Niddrie Marshall Crescent, was jailed for seven years in 2003 for his part in the attack on 19-year-old student Terry Malone, who was knifed in the city centre after trying to stop a gang of drunken teenagers attacking another youth.
Robertson was arrested last night in the Niddrie area of the Capital and was expected to appear at Forfar Sheriff Court today.
