Bid to trace relatives of James Ness Miller (72 years)

Police are trying to trace relatives of an Edinburgh pensioner found dead in his home earlier this week.

The body of 72-year-old James Ness Miller was found in his flat in Persevere Court, North Leith Mill at about 10.30am on Monday (June 18th).

There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.

Despite extensive enquiries police have been unable to trace relatives.

A police spokesman said: 'We know that Mr Miller was born in Edinburgh and is believed to have worked as a civil servant before retiring.

'We are keen to hear from anyone who may have known him or knows of any relatives.'
