David Hopps, 55 years, an architect from the Leith area was last seen at the end of May.

Mr Hopps was due to move to the United States with his partner however became depressed after the break of the relationship which resulted in the move falling through.

Mr Hopps's friends are growing increasingly concerned for his safety.

He is described as white, 5'11"- 6'0" tall, medium build, balding with dark side hair and sometimes wears thick round rimmed glasses.

When he went missing it is thought that he was wearing a tweed jacket, blue and white shirt, beige trousers and tan shoes.
