Annual Lecture

Journalist, columnist and writer Alan Taylor looks at one of Muriel Spark's best-known works, 'The Girls of Slender Means'.

Taylor will explore the novel in the context of post-war London.

He will also draw on our Muriel Spark archive, Spark's autobiography and the memoirs of others to find out what she was doing at this time.
