The Queen's Hall    Jethro Tull - 40th Anniversary Tour
19:30 Monday, April 28 2008

Jethro Tull was born out of the British blues boom of the late 1960s.

From its 1968 residency at London's famous Marquee club to a string of seminal 70s classics - including Benefit (1970), Aqualung (1971) and Thick As a Brick (1972) - Jethro Tull blazed a unique music trail.

At the height of its mid-70s fame Tull rivalled Zeppelin and the Stones as world-conquering rock heavyweights.

Led by flautist, composer and charismatic frontman Ian Anderson, Jethro Tull has produced some 30 albums over a four decade career, clocking up over 50 million sales.

With a contemporary line-up that includes original Tull alumni alongside top-notch session players, the band is back in the limelight, delivering its signature brand of folk, jazz and blues-infused rock to enthralled audiences.
