Farmers' Market
09:00 Saturday, February 16 2008
If you want food as fresh as it can be, visit the award-winning Edinburgh Farmers' Market every Saturday year round from 9am - 2pm. The market takes place at Castle Terrace under the imposing backdrop of Edinburgh Castle.

Local growers and producers take personal pride in the food they bring to their Farmers' Market and want you to enjoy it. The emphasis is on freshness, quality and value for money, Buying locally means you can ask how the food is produced and grown and at the same time customer feedback is appreciated by the producer.

Shopping Bags for Life
The Scottish Association of Farmers' Markets has produced a superb bag for life which will be available from producers and Farmers' Markets throughout Scotland, now available from most producers, and at all SAFM Markets.

Car parking is very convenient, with car parks on Earl Grey Street and Castle Terrace itself. The market is also very convenient for the bus routes on Lothian Road and Haymarket and Waverley train stations are only a short walk away.
