Scotland A without two backs through injury
Centre Robbie Kydd (Northampton Saints) and full-back Rory Lamont (Glasgow Warriors) have both been ruled out after medical assessment today. Kydd suffered damage to his right shoulder and Lamont mild concussion during yesterday’s loss to England Saxons. There was better news from the medics on flankers Donnie Macfadyen and Alasdair Strokosch. Both were said to be recovering from hand and leg injuries respectively and will be available for selection for Saturday’s game. The team for that match will be announced on Thursday. Scotland will face the losers of tonight’s match between New Zealand Maori and Ireland A. Source: Scottish Rugby Union
