Bottle was left on bus around 3pm
Police are appealing for help in tracing a quantity of methadone left on a number 27 bus in Edinburgh yesterday (December 6th).
The bottle was left on the bus between Princes Street and the Pennywell area at around 3pm. A bunch of keys were also lost at the same time. A police spokeswoman said: 'Methadone could prove highly dangerous or cause someone serious medical problems unless taken as prescribed. If anyone finds the bottle, they should hand it in to police as soon as possible.' Anyone with any information should contact Lothian and Borders Police on 0131 311 3131, or Crimestoppers in confidence and complete anonymity on 0800 555 111. Source: Lothian and Borders Police
