    Concern grows for missing 11-year-old
Lothian and Borders Police press release Police are appealing for help in tracing an 11-year-old boy who has gone missing from his home in Edinburgh.

Thomas Malone was last seen on Saturday (December 1st), when he visited his grandfather in Craigmillar Castle Road. He hasn't been seen by his family since.

Thomas had recently moved to Wester Hailes from the Craigmillar area, and he still attends primary school there.

He failed to attend school yesterday, and was missing from class again today (Tuesday).

Thomas is described as white, 4ft 6ins tall, of stocky build, with dirty blond/light brown hair.

When last seen, he was wearing a black and cream zip-up top with a Celtic FC crest, navy tracksuit bottoms, and black trainers.

A police spokesman said: 'Thomas hasn't been seen since the weekend, and we are very concerned for his safety, particularly due to his young age.

'We believe that he could be in the Craigmillar area, as he still has friends and family there.

'Anyone who has information regarding his whereabouts, or who has seen Thomas since he went missing, should contact police immediately.'

Anyone with any information should contact Lothian and Borders Police on 0131 311 3131, or Crimestoppers in confidence and complete anonymity on 0800 555 111.
