Primary school choir will sing festive songs and carols
CHILDREN from Tollcross Primary are set to kickstart the festive season when they switch on the area's Christmas lights next week.
The event, at High Riggs, Tollcross, will begin with a selection of music from James Gillespie's Brass Quartet and Pipe Band. After the Christmas tree lights have been switched on, the primary school's Gaelic choir will sing a selection of festive songs and carols. The event is due to take place at 6pm, Thursday 29th November. The event is organised by Tollcross Community Council and sponsored by the Tollcross Traders Association.
