Glossy magazine aimed at readers aged 30 to 50
A NEW glossy lifestyle magazine is set to hit Edinburgh's homes and top hotels, gyms and restaurants.
The first edition of the Pulse Edinburgh features an exclusive interview with ex-pat Scot and Ugly Betty star Ashley Jensen. There are also special seasonal recipes from Nick Nairn and the Sheraton Grand's multiple award-winning chef, Malcolm Webster.
The quarterly magazine, produced by Scotsman Publications, aims to inform readers of the "very best the city has to offer". The Pulse includes health and beauty, property, travel and celebrity news, and is aimed at readers aged 30 to 50. Around 14,000 copies will be distributed to homes, with more available in shops, restaurants, hotels and other businesses. Richard Bogie, group advertising director at Scotsman Publications, said: "Edinburgh continues to win accolades, not only as the best UK city in which to live, but also as one of the top ten rated destinations in the world, and the number of residents who appreciate and buy the finer things in life continue to grow. "The Pulse will offer discerning advertisers an ideal platform to reach an upmarket and free-spending audience and is a significant new addition to our successful portfolio."
And look out for our two fabulous competitions! Win a weekend for 2 at Tigerlily, Edinburgh's most stylish venue for drinking, eating and sleeping. And, one lucky reader will win £1000 to spend at Hobbs Edinburgh, who are celebrating the launch of their Partywear collection. On top of that, expect several series appearing across editions, particularly Venus v Mars, a woman and man's take on a certain topic - sure to spark a hearty debate! Add to that Health, Property, Interiors, Cars and Travel, and we hope you'll agree that The Pulse is the one of the best ways to know when and where great things are happening in your city!
