Free face-painting with special seasonal food and drink
THE Edinburgh Farmers' Market is to hold a Hallowe'en competition to find the scariest stall this weekend. As well as the prize for the best-dressed stall, there will be special seasonal food and drink, and free face-painting from 10am to 1pm. Master baker Falko Burkert, the 2005 and 2006 winner, said he is determined to keep his title for a third year. He said: "I will be doing my best to make this year a hat trick of Hallowe'en Heroes awards for Falko Konditormeister and to make the market a particularly enjoyable Hallowe'en day out for all visitors. "I know from past experience that all the other stall-holders will be doing exactly the same." The Castle Terrace market is held from 9am to 2pm every Saturday. Source: Edinburgh Evening News
