Get along and enjoy the stalls and activities on offer
The annual Dirleton Castle and Gardens Family Food and Fun Day is a great chance to enjoy one of Scotland’s oldest surviving castles.
There will be family-orientated activities, with hot stovies on sale and face painting. Visitors will also be able to meet a knight in armour and hear tales about life in the Middle Ages. Fiona Kantzidis, Historic Scotland District Visitor Services Manager, said: "The Food and Fun Day is a delightful way to enjoy a visit to this impressive castle with its beautiful gardens. We hope lots of people will come along and enjoy the stalls and activities we have on offer."
The event takes place on Saturday, 29th September from 10.00am to 4.00pm and is included in the ticket price. Charges are made for individual items and activities.
