Take advantage of our fantastic new package

We have a host of top docs on show at EIFF, and you can see 5 for just £20 with our new ticket offer.

Take advantage of our fantastic new Documentary Package, and you can see five films from the below selection for only £20.

Billy the Kid
This inspirational portrait of troubled teen Billy Price won Best Documentary at the SXSW Film Festival. Filmmaker Jennifer Venditti follows the metal and karate loving kid who, by his own admission, is ‘different in the mind’. A sure-fire Festival favourite.

Castells
A poetic and humorous study of an idiosyncratic Catalan tradition, as local communities compete to form the largest Castell – a human tower. Director Gereon Wetzel focusses on the troubled preparations of a village team as they attempt to topple their local rivals.

Crazy Love
An unsettling story of obsession and abuse, Crazy Love tells the story of Linda Pugach, who married the jealous lover who blinded her. Nominated for the Grand Jury Prize at Sundance, this disturbing doc shouldn’t be missed.

The Monastery: Mr Vig and the Nun
Eccentric Danish aristocrat Vig is building a monastery in the grounds of his country stack, and enlists the help of the formidable Sister Amvrosya. Sparks fly as the headstrong pair clash, in this charming portrait of a unique friendship.

Comrades in Dreams
The perfect documentary for the discerning cineaste. Filmmaker Uli Gaulke visits four cinemas across three continents, and his evident passion for the medium matches the hardy souls who maintain them, in a doc which Russell Edwards of Variety described as ‘a delight’.

Traders’ Dreams
An entertaining insight into online auction site eBay, and the people trying to make their fortune trading on it. Co-directors Tolz and Vetter spent a year trailing a variety of budding entrepreneurs, whose behaviour ranges from the sublime to the ridiculous.

Check out the full range of documentaries you can choose from as part of our 5 for £20 Documentary Package.

PLEASE NOTE: these offers are only available offline; in person at the Filmhouse and Cineworld, or by telephone on 0131 623 8030. Unless otherwise specified, offers only apply to full price tickets.
