Council officials are to be given a tour of Tollcross
COUNCIL officials are to be given a guided tour of Tollcross to highlight the area's problem with litter and graffiti. The walkabout, on July 30th, follows an increase in problems and complaints. Last month traders and community leaders accused the council of not doing enough to tackle the problem of rubbish dumped by weekend revellers. Although the problems got better immediately after the complaints, it is claimed the rubbish has now started to pile up once again on the area's streets. Source: Edinburgh Evening News
